Fluid and Fixed width header
The templates have been coded as fluid width--they expand to the edges of the browser. If the unit's content area has been designed to be a fixed width, it is acceptable to use a fixed width header. For more information on customizing the template code for a fixed width, connect with one of the template "experts" during the template help sessions.
Below are examples of fixed width header. Background color must align with the ASU color palette.

The contents of the header can be set at a fixed width with the bar extending to the edges only on the maroon version of the header.
It is not acceptable to extend the gold bar when using a fixed width on the header contents because this creates an awkward cropping of the sunburst.
