Apparel & Merchandise
Merchandise (including clothing, hats and other apparel) fall into two categories: branded merchandise and fashion merchandise.
Branded merchandise may carry the ASU logo or signature. Branded merchandise is generally restricted to the primary and secondary colors in the ASU color palette. Branded apparel may not be created in distressed, camouflage or other nontraditional styles.
Branded merchandise:
* may carry the ASU logo or signature.
* is generally restricted to the primary and secondary colors in the ASU color palette

Fashion merchandise may not carry the ASU logo or signature. However, fashion merchandise may carry Sparky as a decorative element. "ASU" and "Arizona State University" may be placed on fashion merchandise as long as the font used is distinctly different from approved university fonts. Fashion merchandise may use any colors, fabrics or style options. Fashion merchandise that carries the university name, abbreviation (ASU) or any of its recognizable marks may not contain offensive language or images, or any content that endorses behavior in violation of the Student Code of Conduct.
Fashion merchandise:
* may NOT carry the ASU logo or signature, but may carry Sparky as a decorative element
* may carry "ASU" and "Arizona State University" as long as the font used is distinctly different from Perpetua and Frutiger, the two main university fonts
* may use any colors, fabrics or style options
* that carries the university name, abbreviation (ASU) or any of its recognizable marks may not contain offensive language or images, or any content that endorses behavior in violation of the ASU Student Code of Conduct
All merchandise bearing the university's name, abbreviation or marks must be approved by ASU Trademark Management.
