/Secondary Type Usage

These address blocks are used for printed pieces other than the business system, for example, large envelopes, mailers, postcards and foldover brochures that are mailed. Secondary type is limited to college, department, units and service distinctions, or address blocks. The type for college distinctions must be set in Frutiger bold. The type for departments and address blocks must be set in Perpetua. All secondary type must be in the same maroon or black ink as the logo. Refer to the official color palette for color and ink standards.

Secondary Type Usage for Colleges, Schools, and Departments

In this example, secondary type for the college and department is centered under the signature. The type for college distinctions must be set in Frutiger bold. The type for departments and address blocks must be set in Perpetua. This configuration can be used in documents to identify the college or department of origin.
